This widget allows non-webheads to edit and change content on web pages. This will allow you to post event information and add links to press releases and etc. yourself without having to incur the charges a webmaster will want for ongoing maintenance.
I hope this becomes a great time saver for you. On this page you can play around with this demo without breaking anything inside this sandbox. You can familiarize yourself with how this little widget works. If it breaks its easily fixed. You might get razed, but that's the worst you can expect. My cell is 240-2262 if it happens.
IMPORTANT: You can only use this editing program in Internet Explorer 5.5 or above! But all users will be able to view your edits in any browser. Remember, to access the editing fuctions you need to be viewing the page in Internet Explorer 5.5 or above.
IMPORTANT: Some browsers won't automatically refresh and display your changes! If you make changes and the editor seems to be working fine, but your changes don't show up, try hitting the refresh button. The page should redisplay with your edits in place.
Click the "edit mode on" link. A little green edit button will pop up. Click on this (even if it doesn't act like its clickable) and up should pop a password window. Enter "demo". Than an editor window with the page will pop up. Let your mouse hover on each icon in the tool bar at the top to see what it does. Most of the icons' functions are similar to what they would do in MS Word. Please leave the instruction section alone, but change things to your hearts' content beyond the line below.
The enter key in word gives a single line break. In this widget it starts a new paragraph. To get a single line break you need to hit the shift key and the enter key at the same time.

All the normal functionality that most folks using MS Word have come to expect. Bold, italic, underline, justificiation, indents, bullets, lists, and etc.
Tables:
A little funky, but most users will figure it out. I've had some trouble selecting just a single cell or a row of cells for inserting background colors or setting justification. Its easy to change the text in each cell, but difficult to make the table from scratch.
